Reform Party endorses McCain
ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - More than one political party thinks John McCain is the true reformer in the presidential race.
McCain has earned the endorsement of the Reform Party itself.
Party Chairman Frank MacKay says representatives from 27 states voted to endorse the Republican nominee and Arizona Senator.
None voted for Democratic nominee Barack Obama.
MacKay says McCain provides independents the best chance "to elect 1 of our own to the White House."
The Reform Party was founded by supporters of Ross Perot's presidential run in 1992.
